Home Inspection Services
Learn more about what you can expect from your home inspection.
We provide Inspection services to the Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, Desert Hot Springs, Thousand Palms, Bermuda Dunes, and the entire Riverside County. Certified home inspection services include Residential & Mobile Home Inspections, and Pool & Spa.
In addition to traditional tools and equipment, we use infrared imaging equipment. This allows us to detect problems that may otherwise go unseen by the naked eye. We offer video, non-invasive roof inspections with the use of a DJI Mavic Pro drone.

What to Expect
Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining your home, Cal-Spec Home Inspection, provides professional and quality service from the moment you call us. Our licensed home inspectors will walk through your home with you and teach you as much as you want to learn. We strictly follow the Standards of Practice for home inspectors established by InterNACHI, the leading home inspection association.
After we walk through the home together, we will explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent. We will talk through any major issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later. We will also mention the items that you will want to keep an eye on for deferred maintenance. All of this will be detailed in our easy-to-read Spectora report, that will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report, you’ll be able to see the items we discussed, with images for reference.

How Technology is
Changing Your Expectations
Ask about our Infrared Thermography
A relatively new technology for us in recent years has been infrared thermography cameras. This exciting new tool allows the inspector to view and take note of current and even potential problems that are invisible to the naked eye.
Here, at Cal-Spec Home Inspections, we have made a decision to offer IRT inspections as a standard for our customers—-at no extra cost—- because we believe this new tool can arm you with a better understanding of the inner workings of your home.
